Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Turkish Civil Procedure and Insolvency Lawyers Association organized the “Framework of the Law No. 7101 Concordance” Meeting in Antalya. The meeting was attended by TOBB General Administrative Board Member and Antalya Commodity Exchange Board Chairman Ali Çandır, Denizli Chamber of Industry President Müjdat Keçeci, Ministry of Justice General Director of Law and Legislation Niyazi Acar, Antalya Chief Prosecutor Halil İnal, as well as many academicians and judiciary members.​

Oil Sector Workshop took place with the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) hosting the event under the coordination of TOBB Turkey Oil and Petroleum Products Industry Council, and the representatives of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council members and related public and private sector institutions.​

TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu attended the reception celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Czech Republic at the Czech Republic Embassy in Ankara.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has been elected as chair of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) Hazardous Materials Transportation Commission for the 2018 - 2019 term. Representing TOBB as chairman will be Ahmet Karakaş, TIR and ATA Carnets Department Chief.​

Turkey Packaging Council meeting, chaired by the Council President Mustafa Tacir, was held with the participation of senior representatives of the private sector and civil society organizations at TOBB Twin Towers.​

In Turkey, 465 fairs will be organized in 2019. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has issued permits for 465 fairs including 128 international fairs in 2019.​

TOBB Turkey Paper and Paper Products Industry Council meeting took place with Chairman Erdal Sükan presiding, with the participation of Turkey Media and Communication Council President Hakan Güldağ and private sector representatives at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building.​

24.09.2018 / Cizre Vocational Proficiency Competency and Certification Centers organized by TOBB MEYBEM in cooperation with Cizre Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a vocational proficiency exam for the executives and staff of companies operating in the second hand motor vehicle trade in Cizre district of Şırnak. ​

Speaking at the Communication Points Training Program, TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu underlined that they it is necessary to garner more knowledge and convert knowledge into competitive action in order to exist in the global arena. “We want Turkish companies to be more active in international trade and express themselves. This is the only way. Our exporter needs to be properly informed and encouraged. This must become our greatest task. We must be competing at the point of presenting the information to members.​

TOBB Board Vice Chairman Selçuk Öztürk attended the closing ceremony of 31st Ahi Week Celebrations in Kırşehir Cacabey Square. At the ceremony, Öztürk adorned Vice President Fuat Oktay with an Akhi master’s sash. ​
