Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 7th meeting of the Digital Tachograph Steering Committee was held in Ankara on July 10th, hosted by TOBB, with a broad audience consisting of tachograph manufacturers, associations and other stakeholders of the sector, especially the representatives of relevant public institutions and organizations. ​

TOBB Turkey Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council convened under the Council Chair Ahmet Erdem and the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and Revenue Administration Group President Abdullah Kiraz to discuss current issues in the sector at TOBB.​

Students of TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) held a meaningful ceremony for their friend who was killed during the traitorous coup attempt of July 15th, 2016. TOBB ETU students planted a sycamore sapling on July 15th in memory of Law School Student Ömer Can Açıkgöz, who was killed a few hundred meters away from the university. In addition, July 15th Photography Exhibition was opened at TOBB ETÜ in cooperation with the Anadolu Agency (AA).​

TOBB Insurance Assessors Executive Committee elections were held in Istanbul. Insurance assessors elected new members of the Executive Committee for a four-year term.​

TOBB Turkey Soil Industry Products Assembly Chairman Kadir Başoğlu, together with members of parliament, visited the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) President Adem Şahin to congratulate him.​

UMAT İPSALA General Assembly was held with the attendances of TOBB Vice Presidents Ali Kopuz and Tamer Kıran, TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay and UMAT İPSALA President Sefer Kaya Üzen.​

TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council convened under Council Chairman EMRA Liquefied Petroleum Gas Gokhan Tezel, with the participation of EPDK LPG Market Department Chief Muhammed Demir.​

The Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Sudan, Hatim El Sir Ali and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

Under Kadir Başoğlu Council Chairman and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Earthenware Industry Council; convened at TOBB with the participation of the private sector, relevant non-governmental organizations and representatives of the associations.​

TOBB Vice Chairman and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chamber Federation General Council Member Ayhan Zeytinoglu attended ICC World Council meeting in Paris on June 21, 2018.​
