TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the introductory reception for the Ankara Branch Office of the Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO). Congratulating the Van TSO for this, their visionary labor, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Van, with its rich history and culture, is one of the most important cities of Turkey.​

Speaking at the TOBB Chambers of Maritime Trade Council Meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the maritime transportation and ship construction sectors are the pride of Turkey in global competition with their successes.​

Lead by M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the prominent names in the Turkish business world comprising B20 are preparing to make an impact at Davos.​

Attending the B20 Coalition Meeting, B20 Turkey and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with B20 Board Members, said, “We are facing problems we haven’t encountered before in the global economy. We are discussing a time when an abundance of money will no longer be the case. We are in a time when unemployment has reached 40% in some countries; a time when economic inequality deepens.”​

Speaking at the closing of the Council Member Briefing Seminar taking place between 16th and 18th of January, 2015, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that in a world of rapidly advancing information, he puts great importance on these seminars which aimed approximately 10,000 council members throughout Turkey.​

The launch of the Domestic Goods Certification took place at a press conference attended TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Science, Industry and Technology Minister Fikri Işık.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted Gaziantep Commodity Exchange President Ahmet Tiryakioğlu, Kırklareli Commodity Exchange President Turhan Altınel and Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ali Şekerdağ at his office separately.​

Indonesian Ambassador Wardana visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Turkey – Indonesia relations were assessed during the meeting.​
