TOBB and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce sign agreement
The “Cooperation Agreement between TOBB and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce” was signed by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce President Palvan Taganov in the presence of President Abdullah Gül and Turkmenistan President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov.

We are the most active entrepreneurs of our region but we’ve missed out on Mexico
The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Foreign Economic Affairs Council (DEİK), Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stating that the commercial relations between Turkey and Mexico are woefully insufficient and said, “Turkish businessmen have missed out on Mexico. We are the most active entrepreneurs of our region yet we’ve missed out on Mexico.”

“The fire on Çıkrıkçılar Hill has hurt us deeply”
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his sadness at the aftermath of the fire which ravaged the historical Çıkrıkçılar Hill and stated that he believed the damage would be mended in the shortest time possible.

Turkey Trade Registry Gazette’s 55th Anniversary
The Turkey Trade Registry Gazette was first published on February 21st, 1957. Publishing a message regarding its anniversary, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the Turkey Trade Registry Gazette, published daily with over 844 pages and receiving over a million hits on the web, is providing service on par with developing technology.

The Constitution Platform’s Diyarbakır tour
Representatives of the Constitution Platform, comprised of the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Cemil Çiçek, TBMM Constitution Negotiation Commission Members, NGO and professional organization representatives conducted several visits in Diyarbakır in addition to the meeting wherein the questions and comments of the public were listened to.

Diyarbakır has the say on the new constitution
The fourth Constitution Platform Citizen Meetings was held in Diyarbakır. Speaking at the opening of the meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The present constitution is unable support our great goals. We will replace these garments that no longer fit us with the tailoring of the people.”
