Prison sentences should be turned into fines

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We’ve removed the prison sentence for check transgressions. Do you know why? Because there should be financial punishment for financial crimes. If the punishment for financial crimes is financial in nature then why are there prison sentences in the Turkish Trade law? These should be changed as well.”​ ​
