In his press release regarding the explosion which occurred at the Pınarbaşı Police Department in Kayseri which resulted in the martyring of one police officer and the wounding of sixteen people, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they condemn any and all attacks on the lives of our security forces and innocent people and went on, “It is impossible for those who expect solutions or a future from violence to have any connection to human values.”

In his message Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“The explosion at the Pınarbaşı Police Department in Kayseri has grievously saddened us all. This grave incident which martyred a police officer and wounded sixteen of our citizens is deeply saddening for humanity. I vehemently condemn and denounce this attack on our security forces perpetrated with the intent to spread fear among our people.

No problem can ever be solved through violence. It is impossible for those who expect solutions or a future from violence to have any connection to human values. Acts of terror and violence which trample the honor of humanity can never be used to reach a resolution. This is the first thing those who engage in and have a lust for these horrid attacks should know.

On behalf of the business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon the martyred police officer, present my condolences to his family and loved ones and to our great nation, I hope for the speedy recovery of the wounded.”
