Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Yalova Business World Meeting organized by Tahsin Becan, President of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). Underlining Yalova’s important potential, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Yalova CCI has also undertaken good works.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Gebze Chamber of Commerce as a part of his Kocaeli itinerary and met with Chamber Chair Nail Çiler and council members.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who visited Sibel Moralı, Körfez Chamber of Commerce Chair, and members of the council, urged chairs of chambers and exchanges and the members of councils to inform their members about the services they provided. Reminding that they are guarantors for member loans through the Credit Guarantee Fund, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that there are no other union of chambers in the world that vouch for their members.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu visited Bizimköy Handicapped Production Center as a part of his Kocaeli itinerary and toured the facilities.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, participating in the TOBB Insurance Agencies Sector Council Delegate Meeting held in Kocaeli, stated that the industry has experienced many important developments during the past year and said, “First of all, we realized our 20-year of dream. We were able to include insurance agents in SMEs. We were also included in the KOSGEB support list. All of this will certainly contribute to the development of our industry.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who attended the opening of the 4th East Marmara Ideal House and Marriage Preparations Fair organized with the cooperation of TUYAP and Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, pointed out that fairs are a very important part of the increase in trade and export and said, “Both the companies that organize the fairs and the exhibitors as well as the visitors are aware of the importance of these fairs. "​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, participating in the council meeting of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, said that they are working with the Finance Minister on VAT receivables and agreed that the private sector would receive VAT of 160bn TRY from the state. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “They will pay this to us in installments. We will get back our Value Added Tax returns, which we have not received since 1985.” Hisarcıklıoğlu warned business people about employment incentives in the past, also requested that they not be late on this issue.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, as a guest of the ATO Academy Personal Development Education Week activities organized by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) in cooperation with Association of Building Construction Industry Material Suppliers Association (TİMKODER) for their members, gave important recommendations on entrepreneurship, branding and success in business life.​

Improvement of the Investment Environment Reform - Building Permits, Land Registry, the Registry and Electricity Supply Workshop took place with the opening speeches by Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdağ, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mevlüt Uysal and the World Bank Turkey Director Johannes Zutt.​

Speaking at the opening of the Adana Commodity Exchange, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed happiness for being in Adana, which is both the locomotive of Anatolia and its breadbasket.​
