Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President and the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and his accompanying delegation held talks in the Egyptian capital Cairo.​

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and his accompanying delegation, who are in Egypt to attend the 3rd Egypt Investment Conference, met with Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil.​

İbrahim Çağlar Meeting Hall was opened at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke at the ceremony held for the opening of the hall, which will commemorate the late TOBB Board Member İbrahim Çağlar. “It is important to have a good life and to leave behind good works. What joy if we can do this. My brother İbrahim, Allah willing, is fulfilled in this regard. A good life, good works and good sons left behind. He has left a name that is remembered with appreciation.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the Confidence Seal will enable shopping in a safer environment and that, “e-commerce sites with the standards set forth in the Communiqué will be able to certify that they are a safe and standards-compliant site by applying to TOBB.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) President Nail Olpak.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Secretary General of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag, DIHK) Martin Wansleben at the workshop organized at the TOBB ETU.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu commented on the reform package prepared by the Coordination Council for the Improvement of the Investment Environment (YOIKK), “We extend our gratitude to Prime Minister Recep Akdağ as well as all the ministers and bureaucrats who contributed to the taking of these steps.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara.​

Delegation of Non-Governmental Organizations included Presidents and representatives of ASKON, HAK-İŞ, MEMUR-SEN, MÜSİAD, KAMU-SEN, TESK, TİM, TOBB, TÜGİAD, TÜMSİAD, TÜRK-İŞ, Union of Turkish Bar Association and TÜRKONFED visited Cilvegözü Border Gate. ​

Delegation of Non-Governmental Organizations included Presidents and representatives of ASKON, HAK-İŞ, MEMUR-SEN, MÜSİAD, KAMU-SEN, TESK, TİM, TOBB, TÜGİAD, TÜMSİAD, TÜRK-İŞ, Union of Turkish Bar Associations and TÜRKONFED who went to Reyhanlı to support Operation Olive Branch also visited Reyhanlı District Governor Fatih Çobanoğlu.​
