TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu commented on the reform package prepared by the Coordination Council for the Improvement of the Investment Environment (YOIKK), “We extend our gratitude to Prime Minister Recep Akdağ as well as all the ministers and bureaucrats who contributed to the taking of these steps.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu's statement is as follows:

“Since the last quarter of 2017, very meticulous and detailed studies were carried out under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdağ for the preparation of YOIKK action plans for 2017-2018.

As TOBB, we have worked with all our business associations to offer our Government proposals for an investment environment that the business world desires.

As our Deputy Prime Minister announced today in his press release, we have identified areas of necessary reform by inviting experts from the World Bank to do business in the 60th place in the World Bank Business Doing Business Index.

As a result, the 93-item YOIKK reform package, the culmination of the last five months of work with TOBB and other private sector organizations was announced to the public by Prime Minister Recep Akdağ.

Significant steps are being taken to facilitate the work of our entrepreneurs and our investors who invest in Turkey through works such as this study, which aims to make Turkey more attractive to foreign investors.

We extend our gratitude to Prime Minister Recep Akdağ as well as all the ministers and bureaucrats who contributed to the taking of these steps.”
