Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

IPARD Rural Development Supports Information Seminar was held online with the organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and chamber-exchanges have claimed geographical markers. As of 2020, 627 geographical markers were protected in Turkey. Of these, 261 were registered by chambers and exchanges. The first 4 provinces in registration were Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Izmir, Kastamonu. Again, 236 of the 675 geographically marked product registration applications were made by chamber-exchanges. The first 4 provinces in the application were: Diyarbakır, Konya, Gaziantep and Ankara.​

The number of newly established companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 2,21% and 26,55% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 30,87% according to the previous month.​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), met with Moldovan Ambassador to Ankara, Dmitri Croitor.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Education Council Meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Dr. Yusuf Ekinci with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, General Manager of Special Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education Dr. Muammer Yıldız and Education Policy Department Head Vedat Kusgözoğlu. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Casting Industry Council met via video conference method to elect the Presidential Council under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioglu and to consult on current issues of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Telecommunication Council Meeting was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu and Council President Rıdvan Uğurlu.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council 4th Regional Provincial Presidents Meeting was held with TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice President Günseli Özen chairing, moderated by TOBB Giresun Women Entrepreneurs Council President and 4th District Eastern Black Sea Regional Representative Türkan Hocaoğlu. ​

With the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk, the sixth TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Sector Meeting, which were organized with TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Member Fatma Aydoğdu chairing, was held on the industry sector.​

Turkish Eximbank Information Presentation was held online with the participation of the members of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council.​
