Uğur Kocaoğlu elected Casting Industry Council President

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Casting Industry Council met via video conference method to elect the Presidential Council under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioglu and to consult on current issues of the sector.​

TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioglu expressed the greetings of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in his opening speech. He informed the council members about the establishment, functioning and working principles of the sector councils.

 

He said that sectoral councils are a platform that brings together public-private-sectoral non-governmental organizations on legal grounds. He emphasized that the aim of the councils is to produce solutions to the problems encountered on a sectoral basis, to deal with the implementation of these solution proposals and to contribute to the development of sectors at the final stage.

 

Murzioglu pointed out that the issues that will shed light on the development of the sector are determined by the council and carried out the work and activities of the Turkish Casting Industry Council. He thanked the presidential council, which carried out important work on behalf of the Council in the previous period, for its efforts and work.

 

As a result of the election of the Presidential Council, Uğur Kocaoğlu Trakya Döküm San. General Manager was elected Council President while Turkish Casting Industrialists Association (TÜDOKSAD) Chairman Umur Denizci was elected Council Vice President by consensus.

 

Following the election of the Presidential Council of the Turkish Casting Industry Council, the activities of the Council for the past period of activity were shared with the council members by Council President Uğur Kocaoğlu. The presentation on "General Evaluation of the Turkish Casting Sector" was shared with the Council Members by Koray Hatipoğlu, Secretary General of TÜDOKSAD.
