Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In 2020, as a country, the pandemic was fought as it was all over the world, while many earthquakes, fires, floods, avalanches, etc. were fought along with human-caused disasters such as natural disasters and cyber-attacks.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Creative Industries Council convened under TOBB Board Member Ömer Zeydan in charge of the Council with Council President Ata Kavame, Council Vice President Nejla Güvenç and Eximbank senior executives via videoconference to evaluate the sector.​

TÜBİTAK SME R&D Supports 2021 First Calls Information Seminar was held online in Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Turkey (TUBITAK) and Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) cooperation.​

Accreditation development visits are organized by remote connection method using zoom application to 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 13th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges prior to Accreditation Certification Audits scheduled to be held in March-April 2021.​

With the participation of Nurten Öztürk, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the fifth “TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Sector Meeting” organized under the chairmanship of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Member Zuhal Akyüzlü was held to discuss the construction sector.​

Turkey Climate Control Council held its first meeting of the year under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Vice President Selçuk Öztürk and Council President Zeki Poyraz.​

Nurten Öztürk, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB KGK), received the 'Social Responsibility Award' within the scope of the Women Entrepreneurs Awards of the New Searches Initiative Platform Association (YAPDER) Women Entrepreneurs Support Summit 2020.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council 8th Regional Provincial Presidents Meeting convened to discuss education under the chairmanship of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice President Günseli Özen with TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council Chairman and 8th District Representative Sevgi Saygın acting as moderator.​

The Accreditation Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), which is responsible for carrying out the work of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System, convened on 07.01.2021 via video conference under the chairmanship of Faik Yavuz, Council President.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council 3rd Regional Provincial Presidents Meeting was convened to discuss education under the chairmanship of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice President Günseli Özen, with TOBB Karabuk Women Entrepreneurs Council President and 3rd District Representative Nuray Alpboga acting as moderator.​
