Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Speaking at the Gaziantep Business Community Consultation Meeting hosted by the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he believes this turbulent period is temporary, “The foundations of Turkey's economy are robust. Look, we've had dozens of crises and turbulences in the last 25 years. We've overcome them all and we're on our way. Allah willing, we will join together again and bring our country to the place it deserves.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce. Meeting with Exchange President Mehmet Akıncı and the members of the council, Hisarcıklıoğlu had the opportunity to consult with the business community while listening to their problems and solution proposals.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken and chamber/exchange presidents, visited Gaziantep Şahinbey TOBB Science High School.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Vocational Training Center. Hisarcıklıoğlu, who inspected the Center after the ribbon cutting ceremony, received information from the authorities and students.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, President of TESK Bendevi Palandöken, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül and Chamber/Exchange presidents, visited Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin.​

Speaking at the opening of Turkish Eximbank Gaziantep Branch, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Eximbank is gaining new dynamism and added, “The share of our SMEs in Eximbank has reached and exceeded 70% for the first time this year. Hopefully now, thanks to this branch, more and more SMEs will be able to reach Eximbank.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Environment and Urban Planning Minister Murat Kurum at his office. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Plumbing and Building Industry Materials Association (TIMKODER).​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak at his office. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, who has consulted with Minister Albayrak on current economic developments, also expressed his thanks for the support in regards to credit insurance.​

Speaking at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chambers of Commerce Joint Council meeting, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As the chambers and exchanges community will continue to work and produce more in order to have the steps taken reflect on the economy and to fulfill our every responsibility.”​
