Hisarcıklıoğlu declaring their trust in youth and their enterprising ways, “The thing that will enrich Turkey and enable it to reach the pinnacle civilization will be the flame of entrepreneurship that burns within the hearts of our youth.”

In his message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say;

“Ninety two years have passed since the Great Leader Atatürk landed in Samsun on the Bandırma Ferry and stoked the fires of the National Liberation War in May 19, 1919. Our great struggle for liberation, the establishment of the Grand National Assembly, declaration of the Turkish Republic, innovations in our social lives, our democratic campaign, agricultural development, our great industrial burst and where we find ourselves today, has been written in the histories of the world.

As Veteran Mustafa Kemal stated, the dynamism that will propagate this great history, Turkey’s unbelievable success story will be our youth. The light in their eyes, their inquisitive, enterprising spirit will carry this country well beyond the level of modern civilizations.

As the Turkish business world, our belief that the generations that follow us will surpass our works is unshakable. We need only let our youth feel that trust and pave the way for them.

It is with these thoughts and feelings that I, on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commerce Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors, congratulate our youth and whole nation on Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day, and offer our respects to our veterans and martyrs once again.
