Hisarcıklıoğlu attended opening of new service building in Tarsus

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremonies of the Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tarsus Commodity Exchange, visiting the chamber and exchange as well as attending their tax award ceremonies.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, as a part of his Mersin itinerary, first visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) where he was greeted by District Governor Hasan Göç, Garrison Commander Captain Yavuz Bulut, CHP Parliamentary Representative Vahap Seçer, Greater Municipality Director Burhanettin Kocamaz, Tarsus Mayor Şevket Can, Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ruhi Koçak as well as many businesspeople. Hisarcıklıoğlu conducted the opening of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s service building which had undergone repairs.

 

During his speech at the conference hall, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of branding the various values cities produce in the development, emphasizing the prosperity and grace in unity; anguish in dissent saying. Greater Municipality Director Kocamaz stated that Tarsus is an example in regards to their values. Kocamaz reported that significant work has been done in the past for the branding of the city.

 

Following the speeches, the Contributors to Tarsus Award Ceremony took place wherein Mersin Greater Municipality Director Burhanettin Kocamaz received an award for his service as Mayor for Tarsus between 1994 and 2014, also receiving awards were individuals who contributed to the economy of the county.

 

Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the opening of the Tarsus Commodity Exchange’s new service building. Hisarcıklıoğlu conducted the opening of the building with those accompanying him. Touring the building, Hisarcıklıoğlu also opened the online transaction hall, expressing admiration for it. Briefed by Commodity Exchange Chairman Murat Kaya, Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated him for the services he’s rendered.
