Hisarcıklıoğlu praises branding efforts in Susurluk

Speaking at the meeting held by the Susurluk Chamber of Commerce and the Susurluk Commodity Exchange, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu praised the city for their application to get the geographical brand for the Susurluk Toast and emphasized the importance of branding. Hisarcıklıoğlu, “This is how trade marking begins. If you want to earn 10 times what you do now, trade mark your business, province and county.”​

 

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on subject of branding and partnership culture at the Joint Meeting in Sususrluk. Stating that the partnership culture has never quite reached desired levels, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The world’s top companies are merging. When the two of you get together what happens is 1+1=3. We form partnerships very well in poverty but whenever we find a little money we go our separate ways. Everybody comes together in prosperity while we separate.” The TOBB President suggested that those wishing to expand to form partnerships with their competitors in the same business.

- “You’ll be able to gauge your risk when selling goods on credit”

Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that beginning in January, industrialists will be able to see the payment credentials of their customers and emphasized that this was an important development.

Stating that TOBB will support the restoration work on the service buildings of the Susurluk Chamber of Commerce and Commodity Exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the contributions of all chamber presidents, council presidents and chamber members in TOBB’s success and called for unity and solidarity.

- Sugar factory request

Susurluk Chamber of Commerce Adnan Yalçınkaya stated that they want the sugar factory which has been active since 1954, but which has been inactive for the last 2 campaign terms, to start operations again.

Balıkesir Governor Ahmet Turhan expressed the importance of entering the top 10 in world economies and emphasized the role of women in our country’s future.
