TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message regarding the helicopter crash which occurred in the Yüksekova County’s Dağlıca area of the Hakkari province, resulting in the death of 5 of our soldiers and the wounding of 7, said, “This great sorrow has struck at the heart of our nation. We will not forget the soldiers who died or were wounded for their country.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:
“We have learned to our great sorrow that 5 soldiers have been martyred and 7 have been wounded in the Dağlıca area of Hakkari’s Yüksekova County in a helicopter crash.

Every soldier who reaches the martyr or veteran status while serving to protect our homeland and so that our citizens can sleep peacefully in their beds will forever live on in our hearts.
They are the most important names of this country.

Our martyrs who sacrificed their right to live for their country are the true heroes who write history.

The families of our heroes should know that the martyrs are the members of every family. We owe a debt to martyrs which is quite difficult to repay. Our great nation will forever remember our heroic soldiers with gratitude.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon the martyrs and hope for a quick recovery for the wounded veterans. May Allah grant their families, loved ones and our glorious nation patience.”
