Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Turkey Food Industry Council and Turkey Beverage Industry Council convened at the TOBB Union Center with the attendances of TOBB Board Member Özer Matlin and Cengiz Günay, Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş to discuss the information pollution complaints of the industry and to develop recommendations for the solution.​

The geographical marks and retail sector meeting was held under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken.​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Auditor Training was organized with the participation of the Chamber / Commodity Exchanges on December 24-25, hosted by Uşak CCI.​

TOBB Board Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu attended the Meeting on Promotion of Erasmus+ Programs and Grant Opportunities to TOBB Member Chambers at the TOBB Twin Towers. In his speech, Murzioğlu stated that since 2001, they have been carrying out a large number of projects aiming to provide financial support from the European Union, to the chambers and exchanges, as well as companies and the general public to keep them appraised of many projects.​

TOBB Turkey Education Council meeting, chaired by Council Speaker Dr.Yusuf Ekinci, with great interest of senior representatives of private sector and civil society organizations and attended by Ministry of Private Education Institutions General Directorate of Educational Policy Department Vedat Kuşgözoğlu at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​

Initiated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), academic advisors appointed for 2019 for the 81 Academics for 81 Provinces Project convened at the Academic Advisors Information Meeting held at TOBB.​

Under the leadership of Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), in cooperation with Habitat Association, Coca-Cola Turkey and Istanbul Technical University, My Sister Summit was held in Ankara as a part of the My Sister Project.​

The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships decreased by 0,92% and 7,65% while the number of cooperatives increased by 18,99% according to the previous month.​

Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Turkey Transportation and Logistics Coordination Council Meeting was held at TOBB. During the meeting attended by TOBB Board Vice President Tamer Kıran, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Selim Dursun, Turkey Transportation and Logistics Council Chair Ö. Çetin Nuhoğlu, issues in the coordination of the sector were discussed.​

TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç participated in the Opening Ceremony of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Carbon Markets Preparatory Partnership Project organized by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.​
