Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Soil Products Industry Assembly convened under TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu TOBB Soil and Industrial Products Council Chair Kadir Başoğlu with the participation of representatives of relevant private sector and non-governmental organizations and associations. ​

TOBB Turkey Mining Council meeting, presided over by TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu and TOBB Turkey Mining President of the Assembly government Ismet Kasapoğlu, was held in Ankara to discuss the latest developments in the industry with the high-level participation of private sector civil society organizations and representatives. ​

62nd TOBB Turkey Technology Meeting was held in Konya with focus on Digital Transformation SMEs. The event was organized under the main sponsorship of Vodafone in partnership with TOBB, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Commodity Exchange, E-commerce Center and E-commerce SEM.​

The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships increased by 16,26% , 23,06% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 29,03% according to the previous month.​

TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran met with Lord Janvrin, Commercial Ambassador of the UK Prime Ministry.​

Speaking at the Role of Energy Projects in the Development of the ECO Region & TAPI and Turkmenistan Projects Conference held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building which aims to promote the energy projects in the region of Turkmenistan and ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization), TOBB General Administrative Board Member Halim Mete said, “ECO Region is the heart of Eurasia. This region is the bridge between east and west in terms of the economic, political and diplomatic relations as well as socially. Therefore, the development of the 10 countries of the region is very important not only for the region but also for the global economy.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Tamer Kıran, in his speech at the opening of Turkey - Canada Energy and Infrastructure Forum, touched on the fact that 2018 is the 75th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and Turkey.​

TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç attended the tripartite advisory board meeting, chaired by Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk. ​

Eastern Anatolia and Southeast Anatolia Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Commodity Exchanges vowed to consult with each other in seeking solutions to problems encountered in the region during a consultation meeting hosted by Elazığ TSO and Elazığ Commodity Exchange . ​
