Gulf Chamber of Commerce (KTO) held its 15th Anniversary and Accreditation Certification Ceremony with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Minister for Science, Industry and Technology, Fikri Işık.​

TOBB President and the Minister for Science, Industry and Technology, Fikri Işık visited the Gebze Chamber of Commerce. Speaking during the visit, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the Gebze Chamber of Commerce is a 5-star chamber, providing the same level of service as any to be found in London, Berlin or Paris.​

The Anatolian İmam Hatip High School built by TOBB in Çayırova, Kocaeli, was opened with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık, Kocaeli Governor Hasan Basri Güzeloğlu, TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete and Ali Kopuz as well as many guests.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a press release in regards to the killing of over 150 students in Pakistan and Yemen by terrorist groups, “Those who commit these inhuman acts of barbarity will never be seen in a kind light by history. Anyone who kills an innocent kills humanity. The deliberate targeting of children makes our blood run cold.”​

Bringing the actors of the global economy, the B20 Turkey Commencement meeting was held in İstanbul. Attending the various meetings with opening keynote speeches by Prime Minister Deputy Ali Babacan and the B20 Turkey Executive Council Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu given the opening speeches were hundreds of representatives and businessmen from approximately 40 countries.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with 365 Chamber and Exchange Chairmen from 81 provinces and 160 provinces, visited the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the Council Members Seminar, emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity, stating that true grace and prosperity are to be found in partnership.​

TOBB Chambers of Commerce Council Meeting took place in Ankara with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosting the event. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his speech that the 4 years following the general elections in 2015 which will have no additional elections will present very important opportunities for structural reforms.​

The 2013 Kayseri Industry Night organized by the Kayseri Chamber of Industry (KAYSO) was held with the attendances of TOBB president M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yıldız.​

TOBB Commodity Exchanges Council was hosted by TOBB president M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu with the attendance of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Mehdi Eker. Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the agriculture sector has become one of the most strategic sectors in the world and that structural reforms and transformation in this sector must be completed post-haste.​
