Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), accreditation trainings, which will be taking place intensively in January and February, are continuing with the “Risk Management Training” on January 10th. In the training organized for the General Secretary and Accreditation Officers of the Accredited Chambers, Risk Management was matched with the expectations of the Accreditation Standards and explained with sample applications. ​

The delegation of Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce visited TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz. The visit is a part of the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce 2019 Action Plan, during which TOBB - Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce joint efforts were discussed.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and TIR and ATA Carnet Manager Aslı Gözütok visited Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure Regulatory General Manager Mahmut Gürses. During the visit, views were exchanged on the current problems of the transport sector and on the projects currently underway. ​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the accreditation training sessions which will take place primarily in January and February began with the “Risk Management Training” on the 7th and 8th of January. At the training aimed at Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of the Accredited Chambers/Exchanges, Risk Management, in regards to Accreditation Standards, was explained with sample applications.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey Energy Council visited Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez at his office to convey the requests of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz visited TIKA Vice President Prof. Birol Çetin. During the visit, a mutual exchange of views took place. ​

TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the meeting to raise awareness as a part of the environmental legislation, which was held at the Ankara Chamber of Industry, with the Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum and Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Tamer Kıran held a meeting in Istanbul with Afghan Minister of Commerce and Industry Kamila Sidiqi. ​

Coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Turkey (TOBB), the election process of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Provincial Boards and TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Provincial Boards of TOBB Chambers and Commodity Exchanges has begun.​

Turkey Food Industry Council and Turkey Beverage Industry Council convened at the TOBB Union Center with the attendances of TOBB Board Member Özer Matlin and Cengiz Günay, Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş to discuss the information pollution complaints of the industry and to develop recommendations for the solution.​
