TOBB Turkey Chemical Industry Council, in order to put current issues on the table and increase sectoral advisement carried out final meeting of 2017 under the presidency of Council President Timur Erk and also participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Genel Cengiz Delibaş.​

TOBB Turkey Forestry Products Council meeting held in TOBB Twin Tower under the presidency of Council President Ahmet Kahraman and participation of TOBB Board Member responsible of the Council Şahin Bilgiç together with executive representatives of public, private sector and nongovernmental organisations.​

TOBB Turkey Plastic, Rubber Composite Industry Council assembled under the presidency of Council President Yavuz Eroğlu and participation of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş assembled in Ankara.​

Prominent payment system brands and representatives from governmental institutions met up at “Secure Payment Technologies Conference” organised by TOBB and Mastercard cooperation. Participant, through the panels had the chance to learn many topics from experts such as risk, innovative payment technologies. During the conference where underlined that it was not sufficient payment technologies companies, banks and companies taking precautions separately for secure payment, also it is stated that entire establishments working in coordination, setting up information infrastructure and warning systems as well as formation of legal regulations are mandatory. ​

TOBB Vice President Halim Mete met with Senegal Minister of Planning Cheikh Kante Senegal Minister of Planning Cheikh Kante visited TOBB. Within the visit TOBB Vice President Halim Mete and Esteemed Kante carried out a meeting. ​

TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç, within President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s official visit to Sudan-Chad-Tunisia on 24th-27th December 2017, following Chad went to Tunisia and attended Tunisia-Chad Investment and Business Forum along with businessmen delegation.​

Turkish Research and Business Organisations Office (TuR&Bo) Coordination Board meeting carried out. ​

TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu attended 2nd General Assembly of Trade Facilitation Council as founded in accordance with Trade Facilitation Agreement of World Trade Organisation.​

TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç, within the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Sudan-Chad-Tunisia on 24th-27th December 2017, following Sudan went to Chad and attended Chad-Turkey Business Forum along with businessman delegation. ​

Fourth of Venture Fund Anatolian Meetings event organised by Turkey Venture Fund Council operating within the body of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) with the contribution of the Directorate of Economy Monitoring and Coordination of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and Turkey Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Prime Ministry of Republic of Turkey held on 25th December 2017 at Adana Hilton Hotel which hosted by Adana Chamber of Commerce, Adana Chamber of Industry and Adana Chamber of Commodity Exchange. ​
