Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The twelfth of the Secretary General Meetings organized for the consultation of the practices regarding the Chamber / Exchange legislation was held with the Secretaries General of Samsun and Tokat Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges.​

The Türkiye Electronics Council, established under the Directorate of Sector Councils of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), held its first Council meeting under the chairmanship of Seyit Ardıç, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council.​

A delegation of members of the France-based agricultural association Club Demeter visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in order to improve relations between the two countries. TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Member Faik Yavuz hosted the Club Demeter delegation at the TOBB Reception Hall.​

In March 2024, 1,332 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB within the framework of the provisions of the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology pursuant to Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118. In March 2024, there was a decrease of 16.4% (262 units) compared to March of the previous year.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in March 2024 decreased by 8% (390) compared to March 2023 and became 4,508.​

Hatice Güner Kal, Vice President of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, İstanbul Regional Representative, President of TOBB İstanbul Women Entrepreneurs Council, gave information about the issues she is responsible for in the new period at the meeting held online.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Creative Industries Council organized the “Industrial Design and Creative Impact” panel in Bursa within the scope of Let's Talk Orange Events.​

The eighth of the Secretary General Meetings organized to discuss the practices regarding the Chamber / Exchange legislation was held with the Secretaries General of Antalya, Burdur and Isparta Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges. At the meeting held under the chairmanship of TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, consultations were held on the local practices of the Chambers / Exchanges, current software programs and projects. ​

The eighth of the Secretary General Meetings organized to discuss the practices regarding the Chamber / Exchange legislation was held with the Secretaries General of Adana and Mersin Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges. At the meeting held under the chairmanship of TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, consultations were held on the local practices of the Chambers / Exchanges, current software programs and projects.​​

With the cooperation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and the General Directorate of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Trade, the service of transmitting the announcements prepared in the Central Registry Registration System (MERSIS) to the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette in electronic environment was put into operation on 01.07.2020 and approximately 2.5 million announcements were published with this method.​
