The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Industry Council, TOBB Executive Board Vice President Şekib Avdagiç, responsible for the Council, Deputy Directors General of the Ministry of Trade's Directorate General for International Agreements and the European Union Fatma Canan Nilüfer Dora and Atilla Bastırmacı, Director General of the Directorate General for Customs Legislation Compliance, Financial Cooperation, Union Programs Department Head Talip Engin Kaya, European Union Single Market and Green Deal Department Head Elif Berrak Taşyürek, Product Safety and Inspection Import Inspections Department Head Şeyma Bahçeci, and Ministry of Industry and Technology Automotive Industry Department Head Hasan Semiz.​

The TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting was held online.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System studies, Strategic Planning Training for the 10th and 13th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges was held at TOBB on January 22-23, 2026.​

The 14th Labor Council Meeting, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security with the agenda “Digital Transformation in Working Life,” was held with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan.​

In the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 1,5% and 30,9% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 10,8% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

The TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Western Black Sea Regional Meeting was held online, chaired by Mihriban Akyüz, TOBB Samsun KGK President and Western Black Sea Regional Representative.​

The launch of the We Are With You Project, which will be carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD), was held on January 22, 2026, hosted by the Adıyaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 30th Executive Board and 20th General Assembly Meetings of the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO CCI) held in Karachi, hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and delivered a speech at the Opening Session.​

The Turkey & Netherlands Cooperation Association (DBA) delegation, led by Dutch Ambassador to Ankara Joep Wijnands, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Board Member Faik Yavuz.​

Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in the 2nd Sustainable Tourism Forum organized in Karachi by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in cooperation with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and delivered a speech at the panel titled “Transforming Tourism for Social Development.”​
