The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu came together with the two great Turkish organizations in the US, Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) and the Federation of Turkish American Associations (FTAA) in a reception held in his honor.​ ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the “Partners for a New Beginning (PNB)” summit aimed at furthering partnerships of USA with Muslim countries in the fields of science and technology, education and also bring peoples together.

Hisarcıklıoğlu met with PNB President Albright in the US

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with US Former Secretary of State and President of Partners for a New Beginning Madeleine Albright in Washington D.C. on May 31st, 2011. In the meeting Hisarcıklıoğlu briefed Albright on the projects, many of them implemented, of PNB Turkey and asked for support and cooperation during the projects’ implementations.​ ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening of the new conference hall at the Mustafakemalpaşa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Members paying high amounts of tax were also awarded during the ceremony. Attending the ceremony alongside TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıkloğlu were TOBB Board Accounting Member İlhan Parseker, Bursa Deputy Mayor Adnan Çakıroğlu, Mustafakemalpaşa District Governer Kazım Karabulut, Mustafakemalpaşa Municipality President Sadi Kurtulan, Bursa Congressmen Ali Koyuncu and Cana Candemir, Mustafakemalpaşa TSO Board President Şenol Önal, Council President Nasuh Ayşar and many guests.​ ​

The two main issues in Turkey, prosperity and unemployment

Orhangazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO) awarded its members who pay high amounts of tax and provide added value to the economy. The award ceremony, wherein 43 members received rewards in 5 categories, was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Accounting Member İlhan Parseker, Bursa Deputy Mayor Adnan Çakıroğlu, Orhangazi District Governer Ertan Peynircioğlu, Orhangazi TSO Board Chairman Ergün Efendioğlu, Council President Bekir Aydın and many other guests.​ ​

Visit from Arab League Ambassador Al Naciri to Hisarcıklıoğlu

Arab League Ambassador to Turkey Mohammed Al Naciri visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. In the meeting Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the need for Turkey and Arab League’s 22 member Arab countries to further develop their commercial and economic relations, and expressed his wishes for the disputes in the Arab world to be replaced by an environment of peace and prosperity.​ ​

Gap between rich and poor countries threatens world future

Speaking at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey National Committee’s 57th General Assembly, TOBB and ICC Turkey National Committee President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu warned against the increasing gap between rich and poor countries in the world.​ ​
