TOBB and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with a group of students who were placed in the first 100 for the Degree Placement Exam (LYS) and congratulated them on their success. The students directed questions regarding TOBB ETU and Turkey’s economy to Hisarcıklıoğlu.​ ​

LYS first place winner Çelik shared her success story with TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu

TOBB President and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Simav Anatolia Teacher High School graduate Tuğçe Gizem Çelik who achieved the highest points in TM-2 and TM-3 categories in the university exam (Degree Placement Exam – LYS) after having to study in a tent after the Simav earthquake.​ ​

The increase in foreign investments is indicative of trust in Turkey

Speaking at the July council meeting of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the significant increase in the number of establishment with foreign capital, the amount of capital brought in and the ratio of foreign partners stating that this was indicative of the trust in Turkey.​ ​

Take our Prophet’s wife as a role model for entrepreneurship

Attending the Tokat Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s Award Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of increasing the number of women and young entrepreneurs with Prophet Mohammed’s wife as an example, saying, “Our Prophet’s wife was one of the most prominent merchants of Mecca. Take our Prophet’s wife as a role model. Our women will of course be dutiful wives but if we are to lift these burdens everyone has to take up part of the load.”​ ​

“We must all protect the freedom of press”

In his message celebrating the abolishment of censorship in Turkish press and the “July 24th Journalists and Press Day”, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of the people’s freedom to information and news. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Freedom of press for societies is essential as food and water are indispensable for people.”​ ​

Hisarcıklıoğlu: “Those who feed on blood cannot own up to history or consciences”

In his message regarding the martyring of three of our soldiers in the Ömerli county of Mardin, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that every thought and action that fed on blood would be condemned by humanity, he wished for the grace of Allah upon the martyrs and presented his condolences to the Turkish Armed Forces, their families and our nation.​ ​
