In his message regarding the martyring of three of our soldiers in the Ömerli county of Mardin, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that every thought and action that fed on blood would be condemned by humanity, he wished for the grace of Allah upon the martyrs and presented his condolences to the Turkish Armed Forces, their families and our nation.

In his message, Hisarcıklıoğlu said;
“We have received the news with great sadness that 2 junior officers and an expert sergeant returning to the Gendarme Station in İkipınar Village, Mardin – Ömerli county, have fallen in combat.

Those who expect to profit from these news which burn our hearts should know that no one has the power to disturb the unity of this country. The heinous attacks on our valorous soldiers will not go unanswered.

There has never been a person who has found happiness on this earth by assaulting human lives. Those who plan and commit or expect to profit from terrorist attacks which have taken tens of thousands of lives throughout the years must come to understand that planting the seeds of enmity will not bring them peace or happiness.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I condemn this heinous attack and wish for the grace of Allah upon the fallen; I present my condolences to the Turkish Armed Forces, their families and loved ones and our glorious nation.
