Teachers are the architects of our future
In his November 24th Teachers Day message, TOBB President and TOBB Economy and Technology University (ETU) Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that teaching is one of the most honorable professions in the world, said, “Our teachers who prepare our children for the future are the architects forming the world of tomorrow.”

Turan Yazgan’s passing has robbed the Turkish World of a great researcher

Remembering Prof. Dr. Süleyman Sarıtaş
On the 4th anniversary of his passing, TOBB ETU Engineering Faculty Founding Dean Prof. Dr. Süleyman Sarıtaş was commemorated at TOBB ETU with a ceremony. TOBB and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated during his speech that Prof. Sarıtaş has greatly contributed to the academic world and the field of engineering.

The goal should be to establish a good business not find a good job
TEPAV received year’s entrepreneurship award during the Global Entrepreneurship Week. Speaking at the “Power of the Future: Entrepreneurs” Forum, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they encourage establishing a good business instead of finding a good job as a goal, said, “Our capital is not petroleum, but our entrepreneurial spirit.”

28 chambers and exchanges receive their “5 stars”
Twenty-eight chambers and exchanges have received their accreditation documents, bringing the total up to 129. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at the 8th TermChamber Accreditation Certificate Ceremony, stated that two projects are planned for the coming term and that the chamber academy will be established as well the integration of academicians in all provinces to the chambers/exchanges system.
