Turkish, Azeri and Georgian SMEs became partners in a virtual shop. The signing of the “SME Market” partnership in İstanbul will give SMEs of the three countries the opportunity to open up to the world with digital sales. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The opportunity of an era has is at the doorstep of SMEs.” Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci pointed out that this partnership would benefit SMEs of the three countries. “If we are aiming to be among the top 10 economies in the world, we must always be fanning the flames of reform and we must take very fast and determined steps to restore investor confidence,” TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said at the World Bank Business Environment Report Briefing. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the work which is being conducted should be shared with the public and investors on a regular basis as a part of the framework of communications strategy. In his speech, the TOBB President also drew attention to increasing protectionism in the global economy.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the Finance Minister Ağbal and the government for the structuring of tax and premium debts, and warned that May 31st is the last day for the first installment of restructured debt payments for companies and entrepreneurs benefiting from this opportunity.​

In order to make an effective contribution to local development, Academic Advisors appointed by the 81 chambers and commodity exchanges as a part of “81 Academic Advisors in 81 Provinces” program initiated by TOBB convened at the TOBB 73rd General Assembly.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), celebrated “Insurance Week,” in which events are held during last week of May every year in order to increase the awareness in regards to insurance throughout the country.​
