LPG Council discussed current problems of the sector

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council met via video conference to address the problems of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Gökhan Tezel.​

TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Councils of Eastern Mediterranean Region Meeting held

At the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Councils held via video conference, economic measures against the Coronavirus outbreak as well as the effects of the disease on the provinces of the region were discussed.​

Domestic Goods Certificate increased by 3% in the first 4 months of 2020

In accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734, 1,041 Domestic Property Certificates were approved by TOBB in April 2020, according to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), which was prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118.​

Number of Industrial Capacity Reports increased by 1.2% in the first 4 months compared to last year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in April 2020 decreased by 33.7% (1,344 units) compared to April 2019 to 2,649 units. The number of capacity reports approved in the first 4 months of 2020 increased by 1.2% (169 units) compared to the first 4 months of 2019.​

Tax Advisory Council convened

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened on May 5th, 2020 via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç.​

The TIR Committee, appointed for two-year periods by the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), convened via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board of Directors Vice President and Chairman of the TIR Committee Tamer Kıran.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) the Turkey Higher Education Council Meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, TOBB Board Members Mahmut Özgener and Öztürk Oran.​

The Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council, conducted via video conference, discussed the economic measures taken against the Coronavirus outbreak, the effects of the disease on the provinces of the region and the measures which should be taken. ​

Turkey-Bulgaria CCI Forum establishment efforts meeting held via video conference

The video conference regarding the establishment of the Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was held on April 30th 2020. The Turkey-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, which will be established with the protocol signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTİŞAD), will aim to increase investment and trade between Turkey and Bulgaria and for the two countries' business people to regularly exchange ideas on issues and solutions.​

Plastics, Rubber and Composite Industry Council convened to discuss Covid-19 agenda

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Plastics, Rubber and Composite Industry Council met via video conference to discuss the economic measures against Covid-19 pandemic, in conjunction with the chemical sector and the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the sector.​
