The meeting, chaired by Council President Bekir Okan, was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and rectors of foundation universities, and the problems experienced by the sector and the measures taken due to Covid-19 were evaluated.

In addition, the Higher Education Law, which was published in the Official Gazette on April 17^th, 2020, was discussed; the effects on the sector and the steps that can be taken on the subject were consulted by the Members.
