Quality of education directly affects our production power
Foundation universities discussed their future at a conference. TOBB ETU Board of Trustees and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the current Higher Education Board (YÖK) Law does not meet the requirements of foundation universities and said that the YÖK Law needs to be changed and another law prepared for foundation universities.

Agreement to prevent double taxation with Brazil coming soon

World trade must be liberated in order to reach prosperity
Speaking at the “Difference of Alliance” high level discussion of the Alliance of Civilizations Partners Forum held under Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s patronage, TOB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “There’s a world of consumption, an increasing world population and as a result, a world of increasing unhappiness. The most important problems in the world are poverty and privation. World trade must be liberated in order to reach prosperity. And peace is needed for trade.”
