Hisarcıklıoğlu: “The flood has wounded our hearts”
Releasing a message regarding the flood caused by heavy rain the previous day in the counties of Dikmen and Durağan and in the county of Canik in Samsun when the River Mert rose and caused the death of 9, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the grim tableaux caused by the flood has deeply saddened everyone and said, “The pain of the loss of our citizens has wounded our hearts. Our wish of Allah is to never live through such disasters again.”

TOBB saves companies from a burden of 6.1 billion Liras
Assessing the changes to the new Turkish Trade Law (TTK), TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that with the changes made, companies have been saved from a burden of 6.1 billion Liras. Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they have taken an active part in the process as TOBB and that changes have been made to 109 articles on the request of the business world.

There are great opportunities in the new incentives system

In his announcement regarding terror attacks which took place yesterday in Trabzon and today in Siirt’s Eruh county, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Neither our hearts nor our ideas will surrender to terror. Those who hope to benefit from weapons and blood would do well to remember this. The only thing they will be remembered for will be their acts written in human history in blood and shame.”

“BALO is the great Anatolia logistics Project”
In his speech at the BALO Inc. General Assembly, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Anatolia is unable to participate in the Customs Union. As this is the case, when BALO Inc. began accepting partners, the Chambers, Commodity Exchanges and OIZs in Anatolia got the larger share. They took on more responsibility in order to bring their cities further into the European markets. This is why I say BALO is no longer the Western Anatolia Logistics Project; BALO is the great Anatolia logistics project.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu invites King Carlos of Spain to Turkey
The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Vice President of Eurochambres, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu invited King Juan Carlos of Spain to Turkey.
