Hisarcıklıoğlu urges Netherlands to lift visas for increased trade

Speaking at the Turkey-Netherlands Business Forum, TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the trade between the two countries surpassing 5 billion Euros is promising and that, in order to bring trade to desirable levels, visas must be lifted.​ ​

We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind

Gaziantep discussed the new constitution. Stating that the tailor will be the people themselves, Hisarcıklıoğlu said “We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind. You, constitution volunteers, should be the fundamental elements of this process. I will say it clearly: Turkey will have difficulty moving forward with a constitution which is often changed, its spirit stuck between the sovereignty of the people and the elite. The present constitution no longer fits this body.”​ ​

Turkish private sector’s Netherlands landing

TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and a private sector committee of approximately 100, aiming to assess cooperation and investment opportunities in the Netherlands, will be accompanying the President of the Republic, Abdullah Gül, during his state visit to the Netherlands as part of the 400th anniversary of the establishment of Turkey-Netherlands diplomatic relations.​ ​

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, attended the business dinner hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu along with the National Education Minister Ömer Dinçer. The businessmen who went to China with the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, under TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu’s lead assessed investment and cooperation opportunities. The 300 strong committee traveled to china under the organization of DEİK and coordinated by the Ministry of Economy consists of ministers, parliament members, bureaucrats, NGO presidents, businessmen, academics and press. Visits were made to Urumqi, Peking and Shanghai.​ ​

Hisarcıklıoğlu warns at ICCI Plenary Meeting: Unless we increase trade and investments we will lose

Businessmen from 57 Islamic countries met in İstanbul. Speaking at the Plenary Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TOBB President and ICCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the fact that countries which don’t increase their bilateral trade and investments will be the ones to lose in the new era. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Islamic geography is footing the bill for conflict and tension; he defended that if these resources weren’t wasted, there would be no hunger in the world.​ ​
