“People live on as they are remembered.  An international leader and world politician brought up by the Turkish nation, Turgut Özal reformed economy, philosophy and politics; forged his own path with his analytical and venturesome personality; broke Turkey’s mold and taboos, enacted change and pointed out the goals of the future.

Discovering the entrepreneurship in Turkey, Özal gave the Turkish private sector a new vision and mission with the goals he put forth in those days. Turkey has attained the Turkish private sector which has allowed it to break growth records with the goals and efforts put forth by him.

As the Turkish business world, we respectfully remember our 8th President of the Republic, Turgut Özal on the 19th anniversary of his death, whose efforts to the bright future of our political life, democracy and national economy will not be forgotten.”
