Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Within the framework of the provisions of the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology pursuant to Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,368 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in July 2024. In July 2024, there was an increase of 23.8% (263 units) compared to July of the previous year.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in July 2024 increased by 16.7% (656) compared to July 2023 and reached 4,588.​

TOBB Vocational Education Board visited YÖK Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Haldun Göktaş and held consultations on the work and procedures to be carried out for vocational education. During the meeting, especially the need for technical teachers and the cooperation that can be made on the issues of bringing vocational high school students into business life were emphasized.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Electronics Council meeting was held at Ankara Union Center with the participation of Seyit Ardıç, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council, and under the chairmanship of Council President Ender Yüksel.​

The Certificate Ceremony of “Women's Hand in Construction Project” organized by TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Council was held in Konya Chamber of Commerce Assembly Hall.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Turkish Technical Consultancy Council visited Dr. Yalçın Eyigün, Director General of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, in his office to discuss sectoral issues.​

At the meeting chaired by Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Matthew Axelrod, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the US Department of Commerce, and accompanying US representatives met with Turkish companies.​

Tunisian representatives, who were hosted at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) together with the delegation of the Ministry of Trade regarding the Automation System for Certificates of Origin and Circulation (MEDOS), were informed about the TOBB MEDOS software.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Technical Consultancy Council visited Afire Sever, Director General of Water Management, Hamdi Güleç, President of the Public Procurement Authority and Bekir Karacabey, Director General of Forestry in their offices to discuss sectoral issues.​

The Waste and Recycling Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), chaired by Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, visited Çetin Ali Dönmez, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, in his office.​
