Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The training program for commodity exchanges that will start using TIBOS (Commodity Exchanges Automation System) was held at TOBB ETÜ on Saturday, December 21, 2024.​

Mustafa Saraçöz, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Oleksii Chernyshev, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine to Ankara. During the meeting, economic and trade cooperation issues were discussed. ​

A delegation consisting of Hüseyin Çevik, President of the Council of Commodity Exchanges of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB, Arif Parmaksız, President of Nevşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Metin Güler, President of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Hasan Çakırmelikoğlu, President of Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Hamza Bölük, President of Giresun Commodity Exchange, attended the event organized on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center (TOBBUYUM) and PttAVM collaborated to resolve the disputes of suppliers operating in the field of e-commerce arising from invoice objections, cargo delivery and transportation through negotiation.​

Fifth TOBB Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Council Marmara Regional Meeting was hosted by Bilecik Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

During the first eleven months of the year 2024 the number of newly established Companies, the number of sole proprietorships and the number of cooperatives decreased by 11,4% 19,8% and 15,4% respectively according to the same period of the year 2023.​

TOBB Ankara Young Entrepreneurs Council Provincial Meeting was hosted by Ankara Chamber of Commerce.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting was held at Ankara Union Center with the participation of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and İbrahim Burkay.​

The meeting, which was chaired by Ramazan Yön, Vice President of the Türkiye Mining Council, was attended by Mehmet Ali Özen, Deputy General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs; Kerim Özgün Hemdil, Head of Department, General Directorate of Imports; Fatih Selimoğlu, Head of Industrial Investments Department, General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permitting and Inspection; and Salih Arslantaş, Mining Branch Manager, General Directorate of Forestry.​

Within the framework of the Protocol signed between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB); the 1st Stakeholder Workshop of the Project on Compliance with the EU's New Battery Legislation and Establishing a Management System for Electric Vehicle Batteries was held at TOBB with the participation of public institutions and private sector.​
