Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Born in 1961 in Veliköy, Gündoğdu district of Rize. Ali Kopuz started his primary education at İstanbul Tarhan College, continued his secondary education at Fatih College and graduated from İstanbul Fatih Imam Hatip High School.

Mr. Kopuz started his business life in the family company Elif Meat Products Industry and Trade Inc. and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company. In addition to this company, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Et Food and KopuzoÄŸlu Construction Companies operating in the food and construction sectors.

Ali Kopuz is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mega Center Construction Cooperative, Türkiye's largest and Europe's second largest food center.

Ali Kopuz was elected as a member of the Assembly in the Ä°stanbul Commodity Exchange elections held in 2013, 2018 and 2022, and then as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the elections held afterwards, and has been serving in this position for 3 terms.

Ali Kopuz, who was elected to the TOBB Administration in the General Assemblies of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye held in 2013, 2018 and

2023, has been serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB for 3 terms.

Ali Kopuz is married with 3 children, and has 3 grandchildren.
