Prof. Dr. Ziya Akıncı elected as İstanbul Arbitration Center Chair

The İstanbul Arbitration Center (İTM) General Assembly convened under Dr. Vahdettin Ertaş and the TOBB Service Building. The elections for the full members and substitute members of the Board of Directors were held. TOBB Representative Prof. Dr. Ziya Akıncı was elected as İTM Board Chair.,​
Also elected as full members of the Board were Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu (TİM), Hakan Öztatar (Ministry of Justice), Müjdat Keçeci (TOBB) and Attorney Mehmet Rifat Bacanlı (Union of Turkish Bar Associations) while, Arif Parmaksız (TOBB), Attorney Başar Ay (TİSK), Attorney Ferhan Tuncel (Türk-İş) and F. Yasemin Ertekin (TESK) were elected as substitute board members.
SPK representative Dr. Vahdettin Ertaş, Union of Turkish Bar Associations representative Attorney Erkan Köroğlu and TOBB representative Attorney Murat Keçeciler were elected as auditors.
A Consultative Council of 15 individuals was formed as a part of the Ä°TM.
The Ä°stanbul Consultative Council General Assembly is comprised of the 25 representatives of 14 institutions and organization which are TOBB,Ministry of Justice, Capital Markets Board, Union of Turkish Bar Associations, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Turkey Banks Union, Turkey Association of Participation Banks, Higher Education Council, Turkey Capital Markets Association, Turkey Exporters Assembly, Borsa Istanbul Inc., TESK, TÄ°SK and Turkey-Ä°ÅŸ
