Visit from Arab League Ambassador Al Naciri to Hisarcıklıoğlu

Arab League Ambassador to Turkey Mohammed Al Naciri visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. In the meeting Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the need for Turkey and Arab League’s 22 member Arab countries to further develop their commercial and economic relations, and expressed his wishes for the disputes in the Arab world to be replaced by an environment of peace and prosperity.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu informed Al Naciri of the decision to set up 44 sister chambers with Arab Chambers and to have 22 Arab students to attend TOBB ETU with scholarships, telling Al Naciri about the cooperation between the Union of Arab Chambers and TOBB.

Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the importance of mechanisms to encourage investments between Turkey and the Union of Arab Chambers, saying that lowering of customs between Arab countries would enliven intra-regional trade volume.

Al Naciri stated that the roots of Turkey and Arab countries’ bonds are buried deep in history. Al Naciri reminded of the agreement signed during 2004, saying that cooperation between Turkey and Arab countries was improving.
