The Union of Road Transport Associations in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Region (BSEC-URTA), of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey is an honorary member and the TOBB Vice-President Halim Mete is the Vice-President for the 2011 Term of, held its 19th General Assembly in Bucharest.​

  In the General Assembly it was decided that a “Search Conference” would be organized for “Transportation Forum” which member states would be attending and wherein BSEC region countries’ problems and solution propositions could be assessed. BSEC Secretary General Ambassador Leonidas Chrysanthopoulos and Romanian Transportation Ministry’s high level personnel will be attending the General Assembly as well as BSEC region transport sector associations’ representatives.
