TOBB President Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu announced resignation of Koçer and Üzülmez at the press conference with the participation of the members of the board.

 

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu mentioned they have been working with Koçer and Üzülmez for a very long time and have concluded many projects successfully together.

-Resignations at TOBB Continue

 

TOBB President Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu noted he received 16 resignations so far and he expects the number of resignations to reach 30 until the end of the day.

 

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu informed about the resignations, name of the chambers which the presidents resigned are:

 

Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industy and Commodity Exchange, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Ödemiş Chamber of Commerce, Muğla Commodity Exchange, Mustafakemalpaşa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce, Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce, Gönen Chamber of Commerce, Yahyalı Chamber of Commerce, Nazilli Chamber of Commerce, İzmit Chamber of Commerce, İzmit Chamber of Commerce, Gebze Chamber of Commerce, Konya Chamber of Commerce.

 

-Konya Chamber of Commerce Hüseyin Üzülmez

 

Mr. Üzülmez said in his speech that he has served the private sector for 20 years by working at Konya Chamber of Commerce since 1992. Mr. Üzülmez stated his work contributed to alteration of Turkey. Hüseyin Üzülmez added he resigned to continue to serve in another field.

 

-Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Nejat Koçer

 

Nejat Koçer stated he started his work at TOBB 11 years ago right after the devastating economic crisis. Mr. Koçer said he took part in the change of mindset after economic crisis and supported the change while working as the member of board.

 

 -Hisarcıklıoğlu: “I’m not a candidate MP”

 

TOBB president Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated he will continue to be the president of TOBB until 2013 and falsified the news that he is going to resign to become a candidate MP.
