TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu who attended the ceremony said that he always dreamed that the number of economy news pages would exceed the sports pages. At the speech he delivered, he said; “I used to say whenever economy pages exceed sports pages, on that day the economy would be on the right path. Today, thanks God, we surpass the sports pages

 

Besides TOBB President  Hisarcıklıoğlu, State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek, State Minister  Zafer Çağlayan, DSP President Masum Türker, ASO President Nurettin Özdebir, Türk-İş President Mustafa Kumlu, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, Turkey Agriculturalists Association (TZD) President İbrahim Yetkin  and  managers of Public Banks  attended the ceremony organized at Hilton Hotel.

 

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presented her award to Aysel Alp for the internet economic news “Attention! The new address of the gangs is the citizens who search accommodation and cars over the internet”.

 

Dünya newspaper received Özden Alpdağ Special Award as it managed its independence for 31 years and survived as the only economic newspaper.
