The modernization of the Nusaybin Customs Gate is starting

The ground breaking ceremony of the Nusaybin Customs Gate, whose modernization with the model of Build-Operate-Transfer will be carried out by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and its affiliate Customs and Tourism Enterprises Co. Inc who have been liable to make modernization of the customs gates by beginning from 2002 and have been charged with taking facilitative precautions about domestic and external trade with Law no:5174, will be carried into effect on 02.26.2011,Saturday.
Besides the President of TOBB, M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Minister of State Hayati Yazıcı, the relevant bureaucrats and the presidents of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges are going to attend the ground breaking ceremony.
The critical location of the region at international energy and transportation corridors in the mid and long term and increscent cooperation with Syria about economic, social and cultural space in the last period raised the importance of the Nusaybin Customs Gate whose agreement concerning modernization with the model Build-Operate-Transfer was signed in 09.02.2010 with the attendance of President of TOBB M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Minister of Finance Hayati Yazıcı.
