We commemorate Atatürk with longing and gratitude

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu published a message to mark the 82nd anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Emphasizing that Atatürk is a model commander and statesman who marked history, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We will embrace his works to the end; his lights our path and will always be our guide.” Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:
“We remember Atatürk, the founder and leader of our great liberation fight, the founder of the modern Republic of Turkey, with gratitude and thankfulness on November 10th.
Our cherished nation, led by him, has written a success story without precedent in the world. Atatürk's deep and wide-reaching reforms and our nation's trust in him has been admired all over the world.
I'm sure that Our generation and the generations after us will never break from Atatürk’s goals for our country and will be worthy of His cherished memory.
As the Turkish business community, we will never let Atatürk's trust in the private sector go to waste. Following our War of Independence, we will continue to work knowing that our most important challenge is for civilization and economic development.
We bow with respect once again in front of the exalted memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of our fight for liberation and the founder of our Republic. May his soul rest in peace.”
