Aylin Taşhan, who is assigned to Embassy of Mozambique, visited M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey at TOBB headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.​

Ambassador Taşhan said that we have almost no economic relations with Mozambique. However, there are good business opportunities for cooperation there. Turkish Embassy in Mozambique which will be opened for the first time, is regarded to improve economic relations between two countries.​
