President of TOBB, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu participated in the award ceremony for the 2009 tax year, coordinated by the Rize Financial Office and Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RTSO), where he indicated that the recent important issue is the increase of women and young entrepreneurs.

M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu emphasized the reason why they are concerned about that issue is the community’s desire of enrichment. And that being rich and solve the unemployment increases the entrepreneurship.  Turkey's population is 72 million, of which 1 million 300 thousand are entrepreneurs, however Japan's population is 120 million, and 6 million 300 thousand are entrepreneurs. In other words, Japan has four times less entrepreneurs than we have. To increase the number of entrepreneurs we need to support women and young entrepreneur, ‘he said.

-“Our claim is to enter the first 10 economy”.

Implying Turkey as one of the world's top 16 countries that overcame the crisis M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu said they are proud of that and. expressed the followings: we are 12th between the countries that have caught the level before the crisis. We are thankful for that. However our claim is to be among the 10 worlds economy. Now we are questioning how other countries passed us. The next qualifying countries are countries with which we will be racing. Without passing them we cannot be among worlds 10 economies, for this reason, we have to grow our economy and go with the road map to enrich our people. With this crisis Turkey reached the 102 percent of the pre-crisis level. The sector that provides that is the Turkish private sector. In the 50 percent of the growth belongs to the investment share. The number of the employees in the private sector has increased by 980 thousand. The 934 thousand of the increase is insurance increase. That shows that Turkish private Sector passed to the registered economy. This is a great indicator.

-The importance of the structural reforms

Despite the problems, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu said that it is the story of success of Turkey of being one of the 12 countries that overcome the crisis, but there are needs to overcome the problems the entrepreneurs face with, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu also said the followings: for that reason Turkey need to focus on the structural reforms. Among these agents, Turkish Trade Act, Code of Obligations and Civil Procedure Law come. They passed in the Parliament. Works do not run with the old laws, we wanted to open doors for us. Thanks to the government and parliament to enact. In the coming period we need laws that regulating the retail sector. As the ones who do not pay taxes are punished, the ones who pay taxes should be awarded. Providing a 15 percent price advantage of domestic production in public procurement, one of the most important issues are concerned. It is in the EU acquits, it has laws. But so far it somehow was not evoked. Prime Minister issued two times a circular about it. Everyone is afraid of Prime Minister, but the bureaucrats do not afraid. Prime Minister published a circular. He wants to implement the 15 percent advantage of buying domestic goods. But it has not enforced yet. If it will be applied, a great advantage will be gained in the domestic goods produced. “

-“There is a 9.4 trillion dollar market that is 3 hours away”
Despite the crisis, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu said that they demonstrated the work performed by 16 countries and now they want to run, he also expressed the following: “there is a great opportunity ahead of us.  There is a 9.4 trillion dollar market that is 3 hours away from Turkey’s flight distance. Turkey is the region’s most advanced private sector. We must exploit this market. 300 thousand tourists came to Turkey in 1985, today 29 million tourists come. While $ 3 billion export was done of which 90 percent are agricultural products, while today we've become the country that sell 130 billion dollars of goods. 92 percent of this is the industry product. Today, one of every three white goods and televisions sold in Europe are Turkish property” he said.

M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu expressed that Turkey does not have oil and natural gas, but it has a great entrepreneurial spirit. We say that in 2023 we can put that country in the worlds 10 economies. And then we can make he world’s best economy that we deserve. We can face with any obstacle. Provide the same conditions to me in which my opponent produce buy and sell. We do not want anything else. “He said.
