“Great Atatürk,

We, the directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the umbrella organization of our business community, stand in your presence prior to our Financial General Assembly.

How these lands were protected and which kinds of struggles were overcome in the name of our Republic and independence are written proudly in our glorious histories. We, the representatives of the business community, know that we can only repay our debt of gratitude to the martyrs and veterans for the privilege of living in this peerless homeland by pushing our country to the highest level in terms of economic power and civilization.

We have taken it upon ourselves to invest and work relentlessly to providing our fellow citizens with employment and sustenance, to raise our level of prosperity and development.

This beautiful country is the most precious inheritance for every new generation which comes along. We and the generations who follow us will make sure that this trust stands forever. Our belief in this is complete.
