The Turkish business community will be conducting a large scale visit as a part of the President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gül's Sweden visit.

Businessmen, led by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, will pursue new business cooperation and investment opportunities in Sweden.

Hisarcıklıoğlu and the delegation which will travel to Sweden on March 10th, 2013, will attend the Turkish - Swedish Business Forum on March 11th, 2013 which will be honored by the attendances of President Gül and King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden.

Following the opening of the Business Forum, the "Innovative Sweden", "Business Environment in Turkey" and "Sustainable Energy Solutions" sessions will be held.

The Sweden schedule will include sectoral meetings where businessmen will meet with their colleagues in their respective sectors.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu will attend the opening of the Stockholm University Turkish Studies Institute on March 12th, 2013 and meet with DTİK Europe Members and Turkish entrepreneurs residing in Sweden.

Accompanying President Gül on his state visit to Sweden in addition to the business community will be Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, EU Minister Egemen Bağış and Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

The businessmen delegation led by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu will be comprised of TOBB Board Members Mustafa Yardımcı, Çetin Osman Budak and Arif Parmaksız as well as TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, TİM Deputy President Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu, MÜSİAD President Ali Rıza Arslan and TÜGİAD President Ali Yücelen and many select representatives of the business world.
