Condemning the suicide bombing at the USA Embassy, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that terrorism shows its ugly face the same all over the world and that the whole world must move against terror together.

Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wish for the grace of Allah upon Mustafa Akarsu, who lost his life in the attack and stated his hope for the rapid recovery of the wounded journalist, Didem Tuncay. Hisarcıklıoğlu relayed his condolences to the US Embassy personnel.

In his message TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“The suicide bombing at the US Embassy on Paris Street, Ankara, has deeply saddened us all.

No matter where terror rears its ugly head, it will be universally condemned. Those who think that they can profit by targeting innocent lives, pushing the public towards fear and anxiety are deeply and despicably mistaken. Everyone hoping to benefit from terror will be judged before history.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon Mustafa Akarsu who lost his life in the attack, present my condolences to his family and loved ones and a rapid recovery for Didem Tuncay who was wounded during the same attack. I extend my well wishes to the US Ambassador Francis Ricciardone and the embassy personnel.”
